About IPR Tribe
IPR Tribe is a non-profit organization created under Indian laws with the main objective of offering free Intellectual Property (IP) services, including licensing of IP assets, job-oriented IP training, and IP awareness programs to various target groups such as individual inventors, educational institutions, MSMEs, Startups, marginalized groups such as Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe people, women, and those living below the poverty line.
The organization’s ultimate goal is to create a non-litigating IP community and to position India among the top five countries in the Global Innovation Index.
No Cost IP services
IPR Tribe is dedicated to providing free Intellectual Property (IP) services to a diverse range of beneficiaries, including individual inventors, educational institutions, pre-seed startups, MSMEs, people belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, those living below the poverty line, rural citizens, women, and girls. The primary goal is to assist them in safeguarding their intellectual property and providing them with opportunities to generate revenue through the licensing of their protected IP assets.

IP Pool for Licensing
Those who receive free IP services from IPR Tribe, as well as others who are interested, can contribute their intellectual property (patents, designs) to the IP pool. This will make their IP assets available for licensing to organizations across India. By doing so, contributors can generate revenue for their intellectual property, while companies can reduce their reliance solely on their employees and decrease the time it takes to bring their products to market by leveraging existing technologies through licensing. By doing so, a collaborative community can be established, which would allow these entities to generate income from their innovative ideas without resorting to litigation.
Awareness and Job Oriented Trainings
IPR tribe conducts free IP awareness sessions for various organizations such as educational institutions, startups, MSMEs, established organizations, and government bodies.
Additionally, we have also developed job-oriented IP training programs focused on three key areas:
- Searching and analytics,
- Drafting patent applications, and
- Patent prosecution.
- Patent/Trademark agent training
Furthermore, these training programs are provided at no cost to individuals who belong to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, people below the poverty line, women, and individuals from rural areas.
Innovation Studio
The IPR tribe is dedicated to supporting individual inventors and educational institutions in their pursuit of innovation by connecting them with investors, established organizations, and government entities, thereby providing them with the means to bring their ideas to fruition.
IP Community, Mediate, Policy & Advocacy
The objectives are to enhance the training and fortify the outreach of the intellectual property community to meet global standards, mediate disputes related to intellectual property, and engage in policy-making and advocacy efforts.
- Develop a talent pool of intellectual property professionals throughout India.
- Provide training on the process of mediating intellectual property disputes to individuals.
- Collaborate with both state and central governments to engage in policy-making and advocacy efforts related to intellectual property.
